Job summary

A-Team Solutions is hiring Pharmacy Technicians for full-time roles to support the VA CMOP facility in Shawnee, KS. The team handles OTC and prescription orders, using automated and manual filling equipment to prepare mail-out medications.

Responsibilities include supervising contract staff, training technicians, and ensuring accuracy in dispensing, labeling, and inventory control. Shift: 9:30am-6pm; union or credential requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Certified Technicians (CPhT) with current certification by PTCB or ExCPT.
• 6 months of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy if not certified; certification encouraged.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and basic PC skills.
• High school diploma or GED required; fluent English reading/writing/speaking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day contract pharmacist staff activities.
• Orient new contract technicians and assist with performance evaluation.
• Prepare and dispense medications and maintain patient records.
• Package, label, and distribute medications per physician orders.
