Meijer Inc. is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support customers under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist and perform administrative and service-based duties to keep customers satisfied.

No experience is required; training is provided. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend coverage and weekly pay, plus benefits like medical/dental/vision, 401K, education assistance, and team member discounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Neat and legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve appropriate medication from inventory.
• Input customer and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medication.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services.
• Prioritize workload and maintain confidentiality.
