AnewHealth is hiring a Filling Pharmacy Technician in Ohio to support processing prescriptions along the filling conveyor, verify orders, and assist with inventory and packaging for patient shipments.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a High School diploma/GED, and PTCB certification with Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration or willingness to obtain it. Full-time with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy; preferred.
• If not registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, must be willing to obtain a registration status upon hire.
• Must be 18+ years of age; prior experience in a pharmacy environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions at designated filling station along the conveyor.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency of order fulfillment.
• Stock received pharmacy inventory.
• Maintain filling station cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure filling station is properly stocked at all times.
• Package orders to be shipped to patients.
• Monitor station queues and QA to meet patient needs.
• Meet daily pharmacy goals to ensure timely delivery to patients.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve issues.

Job Details

The Filling Pharmacy Technician will work along the conveyor to ensure prescription add-ons are processed accurately and efficiently. They will also support inventory activities. As well, this individual will ensure orders are packaged properly to be shipped out to patients.

Responsibilities

Education (Applicable to OH candidates)

• High school diploma /GED required.
• Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, preferred.

Experience

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy environment, preferred
• Prior pharmacy technician experience, preferred.

Physical/Mental Demands

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods of time. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and using computer systems. Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately. May require bending, reaching, and repetitive motions during production activities.

Schedule

This is a full‑time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad‑hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
