Job summary

Evolving Solution Services, a Kalispell, MT infusion pharmacy, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join our sterile compounding team. You will prepare sterile medications, document procedures, and maintain aseptic conditions in cleanrooms and hoods, under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to obtain Montana Pharmacy Technician License.

  • Sterile compounding experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and aseptic technique.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications according to prescription orders, standard operating procedures and Montana and federal law.
  • Maintain proper documentation in compliance with USP <797> and <800> regulations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and aseptic conditions in sterile compounding areas (cleanroom, laminar flow hoods).
  • Accurately measure and mix ingredients using calibrated equipment.
  • Package and label finished products with a high degree of precision.
  • Assist in inventory control, ordering, and restocking of compounding supplies.
  • Support pharmacists in daily operations and uphold a high standard of patient care and safety.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our sterile compounding team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in sterile environments, with a strong commitment to accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to regulatory standards. There is a possibility of cross-training to non-sterile compounding at a later date.
