Qualifications

• Active New York State Pharmacy Technician registration (or ability to obtain).
• 2-3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy preferred.
• Experience with insurance processing, prior authorizations, and pharmacy claims is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with pharmacy management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with prescription intake, data entry, and insurance claim processing.
• Coordinate with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies.
• Assist with prior authorizations and specialty medication workflows.
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
• Manage inventory and assist with medication ordering.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company policies.
• Support pharmacists and other team members with daily operations.
