Assists customers with inquiries, questions and concerns., Checks pharmacy stock for drugs that need to be reordered., Completes General Employee Orientation, On-Line Interactive Education (OLIE), and All other Competency assessments related to the position of Pharmacy Technician., Count out register and make sure there is change daily., Maintains a clean and uncluttered work environment., Make ice packs and order drugs for Hospice comfort packs., Monitors assigned section for outdated drugs. (In Prairie Pharmacy)., Obtain and maintain Illinois Pharmacy Technician Certification within 2 years of hire. (Exception: Pharmacist Students are not required by the state of IL to obtain Certification), Obtain and maintain Illinois Pharmacy Technician Licensure within 60 days of hire., Pick up and deliver mail and orders to the storeroom daily., Pick up outdated drugs from Inpatient Pharmacy and dispose of properly., Processes departmental paperwork as needed., Processes medication orders accurately and in a timely manner.
