St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Retail Pharmacy under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.

You will assist with clerical tasks, recordkeeping, order entry and medication dispensing, while maintaining accuracy, safety and regulatory compliance. Candidates must have a High School diploma, Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license or intern/candidate license with PTCB, and 10 ACPE education hours per year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license or intern/candidate license with PTCB.
• At least 10 ACPE approved education hours per year.

Responsabilités

• Performs pharmacy-related functions under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist and may perform administrative functions of the Retail Pharmacy.
• Assists the Retail Pharmacy Pharmacist in clerical, recordkeeping, order entry, and medication dispensing functions.

Formation

High School diploma or equivalent

Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License or Intern/Candidate License with PTCB

AT LEAST 10 ACPE approved education hours per year
