Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation.


• Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and proper storage


• Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software systems


• Troubleshoot insurance rejections and handle prior authorizations.

Experience

• Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail pharmacy is required.


• Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, and medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice.


• Experience with PrimeRx/Micromerchant is preferred but not required.


• Certification and ability to administer vaccinations is not required but highly preferred.


• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
