Community College of Rhode Island is recruiting a Rhode Island-licensed pharmacist to serve as Pharmacy Technician Program Instructor. The role blends classroom, lab, and online teaching with onboarding through externships, certification, and licensure processes.

The instructor acts as a liaison among students, faculty, workforce partners, and employers, ensuring program delivery and successful outcomes. The position may include daytime or evening cohorts in in-person, online, and hybrid

Formación

Pharmacist license in Rhode Island (active, unrestricted).
Experience teaching, training, or supervising pharmacy personnel or adult learners.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

Deliver classroom, laboratory, and online instruction per curriculum and program objectives.
Prepare students for PTCE certification and licensure requirements.
Coordinate with instructors and teaching assistants to ensure consistency in curriculum and policies.
Maintain accurate attendance, grades, externship hours, and program completion records.
Guide students through Rhode Island licensure and national certification steps.
