Job summary

JobRx, Inc. in Texas seeks an experienced pharmacy technician to assist pharmacists with daily operations and ensure timely, accurate service within the Pharmacy Department.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; pharmacy technician training or related college courses are preferred, with two+ years PTR experience also favored. Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school/GED required or equivalent experience.
• College or commercial school courses in basic sciences, mathematics, business or related areas preferred.
• Two or more years of experience as a registered pharmacy technician (Ph.T.R.) preferred.
• Designated cash handlers must complete the Patient Services Cashier course during probation.

Two or more years of experience as a registered pharmacy technician (Ph.T.R.) is preferred. Designated cash handlers must successfully complete the Patient Services Cashier course and be designated as a Patient Services Cashier during the initial probationary period.

Licensure

Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration required.
