Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in paraprofessional tasks and support high quality pharmacy services. The role requires or prefers Texas Board licensure and pharmacy intern credentials, with hospital experience valued.

This PRN/part-time position is based in Dallas, TX, offering opportunities to work with a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Technician with Texas State Board of Pharmacy or Pharmacy Intern License with TX Board.
• IV certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Technician will assist in paraprofessional tasks that will ensure a high quality of pharmacy services.
• Assist pharmacists with dispensing and patient-care duties as needed.

Job Requirements

Education

• High school Diploma or Equivalent

Licenses and/or Certifications

• Registered Technician with Texas State Board of Pharmacy or Pharmacy student with current Pharmacy Intern License with Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• IV certification, preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year of Pharmacy experience, preferred
• Hospital Pharmacy experience, preferred
