Responsibilities

• Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software by reading prescriptions and coding data.
• Fill prescriptions and label containers; weigh/measure medications and prepare preparations as needed.
• Assist pharmacist with third-party claims, inventory control and maintaining stock.
• Process customer purchases and handle payments at point of sale.
• Communicate with patients regarding billing, pharmacy services, and language needs.
