Albertsons Companies Inc. is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will maintain records, restock supplies, ensure accuracy, and assist customers while upholding HIPAA and state/federal regulations. This role may require weekends/evenings and demands strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems.
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements.
• Reading, interpreting, and following written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and data entry accurately.
• Prepare medications and assist with order processing within regulatory limits.
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep workspace clean.
• Direct clinical questions to the pharmacist and respond to patient inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and federal/state pharmacy laws.
