Valley Pharmacy in Roxbury, NJ is seeking a dependable Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with filling prescriptions and providing exceptional customer service. You will handle prescription processing, maintain patient profiles, and support stock management.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work with computers. Evening and weekend availability is preferred to support pharmacy operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• Contingent on passing drug test and clean background check.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age (or as required by state law).
• Maintain information confidentiality as required by law.
• Offer flexibility in work hour scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist to fill, dispense prescriptions for customers.
• Assist customers at counter, retrieves prescriptions, rings up customers, answer phones as needed.
• Obtain information from patients and medical personnel to maintain current patient profiles.
• Order and stock drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise.
• Maintain complete and accurate dispensing records, and contact physicians' offices for refills.
• Translate and enter prescriptions, prepare labels and other documentation.
