Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in delivering efficient and accurate service in a retail store in California. You will help with dispensing prescriptions, ensure safety and accuracy, and provide caring customer service as part of a compliant health care team.

You will complete required training and obtain necessary state licensure/certification under company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to patients and customers.
• Operate as part of the pharmacy team following SOPs and policies.
