Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare and distribute medications under a licensed pharmacist's supervision across our facilities in South Florida. You will fill/label medications, refill Pyxis, deliver to patient care areas, and prepare IV admixtures while maintaining stock and proper storage.

Strong computer skills and experience with automation are expected. Estimated pay range is $20.42–$26.55 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits and career

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience (or equivalent setting).
• Sterile products preparation experience or medication history experience.

Responsibilities

• The pharmacy technician prepares and distributes medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Filling and labeling medications, refilling Pyxis, delivering medications to patient care areas.
