Shields Health Solutions is looking for a Pharmacotherapy Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacotherapy Clinic at Providence Portland Medical Center. This role involves patient interaction, coordination of appointments, and support of pharmacists in a clinical setting.

The Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacotherapy Clinic by assisting pharmacists with patient communication, follow‑up, and care coordination activities. This role focuses on enhancing patient access to clinical services, supporting medication management processes, and ensuring that patients receive timely monitoring and appropriate follow‑up throughout their therapy. The Technician contributes to safe, efficient, and patient‑centered clinical operations within a non‑dispensing environment.
Required Licensure/Certification: State registered pharmacy technician. Nationally certified as a CPhT or equivalent is strongly preferred but not required. Applicants who need additional licensure must commit to obtaining the required licensure within a mutually agreed timeframe. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements.
Years of Experience: Required: 1+ years; Preferred: 5–8 years as a Pharmacy Technician. Experience working with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (preferably in a medical clinic) is a plus.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
