Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
• Providing excellent customer service, greeting customers, resolving issues, and building relationships.

Additional duties:

• Supporting pharmacy operations, including entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and managing inventory.
• Reporting prescription errors and adhering to quality and safety policies.
• Handling cash register transactions and assisting with clerical tasks.
• Supporting clinical services and community outreach efforts.

Training & Personal Development:

• Maintaining PTCB certification through training and continuing education.
• Attending training sessions and acquiring ongoing knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy developments.
• Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: Six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
