Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a part-time pharmacy technician to support pharmacists and manage automated dispensing machines. You will stock ADMs, handle narcotics, answer calls, and assist with sterile product preparation in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include dispensing under supervision and ensuring drug storage compliance. Per diem shifts with weekend differentials are offered within a comprehensive benefits framework.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a hospital-based, community college or military technician training program preferable.
• National certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 1 year of hire.
• CT Pharmacy Technician state registration must be current; or registration as a Pharmacy Intern and actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy program.
• Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Maintain ADMs stock levels by loading and refilling medications, including narcotics, for all in-patients.
• Answer telephones and assist nurses with ADM questions and drawer maintenance.
• Dispense controlled drugs under pharmacist supervision to anesthetists and for delivery to ADM machines.
• Prepare IV admixtures, solutions, sterile products, and chemotherapy as needed.
• Inspect nursing units for proper drug storage, expiration dates, and drug reliability in the pharmacy.
