Job summary

KVH in Washington state seeks a Pharmacy Technician to prepare and dispense medications, stocking Pyxis inventories, under supervision of the Staff Pharmacist and Pharmacy Director. The role involves contributing to safe and accurate medication delivery within KVH facilities.

Required: Washington State Technician License and high school diploma. Preferred: CPhT, 1 year hospital pharmacy experience, CPR, IV admixture, Pyxis/CII Safe experience. Benefits eligible with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications from Pyxis and KVH stock.
• Assist Pharmacy staff and follow Supervising Pharmacist and Pharmacy Director guidance.

Pharmacy Technicians work closely with Pharmacy and ancillary healthcare staff to prepare and distribute patient specific medications and medications stocked within Pyxis throughout KVH owned facilities. The Pharmacy technician will be supervised by the Staff Pharmacist and Pharmacy director.

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range currentlystarts at $21.91/hour and goes up to $33.22/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. Shift differentials may apply; Evening (3p - 11p) = $2.25/hour, Night (11p - 7a) = $3.10/hour, Weekends = $3.00/hour.

FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week
