Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity.
• Comply with and reinforce all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations and programs.
• Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Follow guidelines on inventory management, control, and ordering of medications, devices, supplements and supplies.
• Maintain departmental standards including clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas.
• Complete billing procedures to assure best value to the customer and the company.
• Answer phone and triage calls and inquiries.
• Operate the cash register and follow cashier policies to prevent loss.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.
• Understand HIPAA and company policies regarding privacy.
• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with/without reasonable accommodation.
