Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Michigan to support medication dispensing, patient data entry, and insurance claim adjudication within a busy retail pharmacy. You will order and stock medications, prepare labels, and promote pharmacy services while maintaining a clean, confidential, and compliant environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, retail pharmacy experience, strong customer service, good typing speed, neat handwriting, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
