Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be the patient-facing face of our pharmacy team. You will assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and help customers with over-the-counter products, while maintaining accuracy and excellent service.

This role emphasizes patient-centric care, teamwork, and the use of pharmacy systems to retrieve information and ensure safe dispensing.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for accurate dispensing.
• Good computer skills and inventory knowledge.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in accordance with state, federal regulations and company policies.
• Process prescriptions and input patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Handle cash/register duties and assist customers with OTC products.
• Support inventory management, stocking, and order processing.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and clinics to facilitate patient care.
