Job summary
CVS Health in California is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support store pharmacy teams, assist patients, and help ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and with compassionate service. Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and licensure
- Minimum age 16 unless state requires higher
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
Responsibilities
- Attend to customers with accurate prescription handling and service.
- Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow to ensure safe dispensing.
- Provide empathetic patient care across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone.
- Perform basic inventory tasks and cycle counts per policy.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team and accept feedback.
- Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and CVS policies on privacy and safety.
- Support immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed.
