Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy in good standing and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmacy technician support for medication distribution, inventory management, automated dispensing systems, and day‑to‑day pharmacy operations under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
• Fills medication carts on a daily basis.
• Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
• Repackages bulk medications.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Texas Board of Pharmacy registration in good standing

PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern

CPR and de-escalation certification (within 30 days of hire)
