Cosentino's Food Stores is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist customers with their prescription needs and wellness products. You will work under the Pharmacist in Charge, processing prescriptions, verifying patient information, and ensuring accurate cash register transactions.

Qualifications

• Completion of ongoing training as listed on Cosentino Learning Plan.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Retail Pharmacy Software, and POS System experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know and implement the Cosentino Customer Service Standards.
• Receives new and refilled prescriptions from customers for filling and assists them at pickup.
• Verifies name and address and prescriber's name legibility for prescriptions.
• Processes cash register transactions for prescriptions and related items.
• Provides customers with instructions, side effects, and medication descriptions.
• Arranges consultations with Pharmacist and completes third-party documents when needed.
