Job summary

Walgreens in Texas is seeking an entry-level pharmacy technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, processing prescriptions and supporting the Pharmacy Department in daily operations.

You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient information, support inventory and cash handling, and help deliver a positive customer experience. PTCB certification is preferred for advancement within Walgreens.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification preferred or required for promotion, with training completed through Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff.
• Support inventory management, cash handling, and store operations as directed by management.
• Assist with clerical duties and ensure compliance with company policies.
