Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for Pharmacy practice, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide customer service and team support in a friendly manner.
• Use verbal and written communication effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Perform mathematical calculations for dispensed medications (days supply, bottle counts).
• Identify and resolve patient or colleague issues and escalate when needed.
• Be mobile and able to lift and bag items as part of daily tasks.
