Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support patient health initiatives and assist pharmacists in daily dispensing and data entry tasks.

The role requires adherence to HIPAA, current licensure, and strong customer service. On-site expectations include stocking, sanitation, and collaboration with clerks/technicians to ensure safe, accurate dispensing within state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure

Responsibilities

• Support company health and wellness initiatives
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current national and/or state registration, certification, or license
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require pharmacist's professional judgment
• Provide stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps
• Support coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians
• Compound medications according to state and other regulations
• Perform post fill audits to verify prescription information matches records
• Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and applications
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings consistent with laws and policies
• Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed by regulations
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
• Comply with regulations and report illegal activity
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
