Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and efficient prescription fulfillment and outstanding customer service. The role involves working with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, safety, and compassionate care in every patient interaction.

The technician will complete required training and meet state licensure requirements, with responsibilities including store-wide SOP adherence, inventory duties, and potential immunization support

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow company SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions.
• Complete basic inventory activities, as permitted by law, and as directed by the pharmacy leadership team.
• Contribute to a high-performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and be receptive to feedback.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to stores in the market as needed.
