Job summary

CVS Health in Bloomington, IL is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate patient service. You will follow SOPs, assist in immunizations where allowed, and help manage inventory while maintaining privacy and compliance with state regulations.

This role requires strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• 1–3 years previous Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred).
• Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic patient service at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Support inventory activities and cycle counts.
• Travel to other stores in the market as needed.
• Follow laws, CVS policies, and protect patient privacy.
