Job summary

Sam's Club in Columbia, SC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in prescription fulfillment, verify data, and assist with third-party claims while delivering friendly service to members.

You will enter prescription data into the pharmacy software, prepare medications, handle will-call pickups, and help maintain a compliant, safe pharmacy environment in accordance with Walmart policies.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and third-party insurance claims.
• Assist the pharmacist in prescription fulfillment.
• Provide member service at the pharmacy drop-off and pickup window.
• Maintain the pharmacy area, inventory, and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
