Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer phone and assist customers.
• Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist patients as required.
• Enter prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Enter patient information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Contact new patients for demographic and insurance information.
• Process refills and contact patients to prepare for pickup.
• Maintain updated patient profiles including allergies.
• Communicate with prescribers for clarification as directed by the pharmacist.
• Count, measure, prepare and label prescriptions according to state laws.
• Inspect drug supply and storage areas and manage inventory.
