Job summary

Altru Chemists is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in New York. You will receive prescriptions, check accuracy, and input data into our system.

You will also handle payments for prescriptions, receive incoming inventory, and answer customer questions and concerns. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service skills, and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Polish is a plus.
• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician.
• BestRx experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medications, dosages, and pharmacy law.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism and courtesy.
• Process and fill prescriptions accurately in BestRx.
• Handle insurance claims and resolve rejections.
• Sort, stock, and label medications while monitoring inventory.
• Perform record-keeping and other administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and procedures.
