Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for part-time shifts in our retail stores. You’ll support pharmacists, prepare prescriptions, and help deliver patient-centered service with accuracy and empathy.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be enrolled in high school or equivalent program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contribute to patient experiences by offering empathetic and personalized service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Complete basic inventory activities per law and SOPs.
• Engage in continuous learning to expand clinical and technical knowledge.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional patient health services where allowed by law and training.
