Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board does not specify a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• If no minimum educational requirement is addressed, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic customer service at pickup, drive-thru and over the phone
• Assist with inventory and daily pharmacy operations as permitted by law
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Deliver additional health services where allowed by law and trained
