Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and a compassionate patient experience within our retail stores. Technicians operate as part of the pharmacy team, following SOPs, handling production, pickup, drive-thru and drop-off duties, and assisting with immunizations when permitted.

This part-time role requires meeting state licensure, high school completion, and ongoing training;

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If no minimum age is set by the state board, candidate must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic patient service at pickup, drive-thru and over the phone.
• Perform basic inventory activities and cycle counts as directed.
• Follow SOPs and protect patient privacy and safety in all interactions.
• Support immunizations and vaccine administration where legally allowed.
