CVS Health in Newtown, CT is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service to patients and customers. You will follow SOPs across production, pickup, drive-thru and front-end tasks, assist with immunizations and testing where allowed, and stay compliant with state boards and company training.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient interactions.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support Pharmacists.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and patient-focused environment.
• Travel to stores within the market as needed by the business.
