Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams and deliver exceptional patient care in our stores. You will help ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, maintain inventory, and assist with immunizations where allowed by law.

The role requires adherence to SOPs and a commitment to safety and quality in every interaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment with strong emphasis on customer service, compliance with state licensing, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide compassionate patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone; assist with immunizations and other services.
• Perform basic inventory activities and prep/stock medications as directed by leadership.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed by the business.
