Job summary

CVS Health in Gloucester, MA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams, ensure safe prescription fulfillment, and deliver compassionate customer service. The role includes immunization support where permitted by law and ongoing training to meet licensing requirements.

You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory, and help provide a positive patient experience while maintaining safety and privacy standards. This is a full-time position with typical weekly hours of 40.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic customer service and assist patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law
• Maintain inventory and shelving per SOPs
• Travel to stores in the market as needed by business
• Comply with all laws, regulations and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Deliver additional patient health care services where permitted by training and certification
