Qualifications

• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with processing prescriptions and ensuring accuracy.
• Handle customer questions and provide compassionate service at the counter.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Support inventory activities and medication deliveries as directed.
• Perform tasks with accuracy in labeling, dosing, and dispensing procedures.
• Remain flexible for scheduling, including nights and weekends.
• Uphold patient privacy and safety standards in line with CVS policies.
