Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• If state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old
• If state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school/equivalency
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Provide excellent patient service and support pharmacy team
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients and colleagues
• Verify prescription information and ensure labeling accuracy for patient safety
• Assist with basic inventory tasks and returns as directed by leadership
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and CVS policies
