Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Augusta, GA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate service to patients and customers. You will follow SOPs, assist in inventory, and may provide immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed, while complying with state boards and certification requirements.

Travel to stores in the market may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• 1–3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic customer service and help create positive patient experiences at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and assist in managing medication deliveries and cycle counts.
• Support immunizations and other patient health care services where allowed by law and trained.
