Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering efficient service and accurate prescription filling. You will interact with patients, assist the pharmacists, and ensure operations run smoothly in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will complete training, meet state licensing requirements, and participate in immunization and other clinic services where allowed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and laws.
• Minimum age 16 if required by state board.
• High school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists.
• Follow workflow procedures for safe prescription fulfillment.
• Enhance patient experiences with empathy and care.
• Manage inventory and cycle counts as directed.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and seek growth.
• Stay flexible with scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
• Comply with laws and CVS policies, protect patient privacy.
• Provide immunizations and other services where allowed.
