Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering accurate prescriptions and exceptional customer service at retail stores. The role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and compassionate patient care, with training provided to meet state licensing requirements.

The position is part-time with weekly hours around 20, offering opportunities to assist with immunizations and additional health services as allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with prescription dispensing and patient interactions to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Provide excellent customer service and support patient experiences at pick-up, drive-thru, and by phone.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and trained.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and contribute to stock management per SOPs.
• Maintain compliance with CVS policies, privacy, and safety requirements to protect patient information.
