Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. You will interact with patients, promote clinical services, and input prescriptions into the dispensing system.

Responsibilities include creating labels, processing insurance claims, stocking medications, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a clean, professional environment. A state license and retail pharmacy experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Registered and/or licensed as required in the state of practice.
• Retail/Community Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at service points.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Input customer and prescription information into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve medications from inventory.
• Complete paperwork for fillings and drug orders.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock medications and maintain inventory.
• Maintain a clean, professional pharmacy appearance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ensure licensure requirements are met as state demands.
