Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our CVS Pharmacy team in York, PA. This full-time role supports the pharmacy team in filling prescriptions and delivering excellent patient service while adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

The position requires compliance with state board requirements, 1–3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age and licensure/certification.
• State-specific licensure or national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist patients and customers, providing empathetic, courteous service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Perform basic inventory activities and assist with stock management per SOPs.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state law and training.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and compliance with controlled substance dispensing rules.
• Adapt to store scheduling needs and travel across stores in the market as required.
