Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure
• Desired: Any previous comparable experience
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current national and/or state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement
• Provide stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
• Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and applications
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law and company policies
• Provide any additional health and wellness services allowed by regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient intervention by health and wellness services
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities not requiring professional judgment
• Handle reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing efficiently
• Support clerks/technicians through coaching and training
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings as allowed by law
• Maintain sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies
• Respond to regulatory requirements and report illegal activity when observed
