Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a retail/community setting. You will assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, compounding, labeling and records, and support billing and inventory management. The role requires adherence to state regulations and accurate handling of prescriptions.

In this position you will work under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring patient safety, proper documentation, and efficient service within a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Iowa: must be nationally certified (PTCB/NHA) within 12 months.
• Minnesota: must have active license and Sanford training within 12 months.
• North Dakota: must register and obtain national certification within timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in compounding, preparing and dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintain drug storage conditions and inventory; support billing.
• Work under supervision of a registered pharmacist; ensure safety and compliance.
