Job summary

NARA Northwest is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support safe, accurate medication preparation and dispensing across two Portland locations. You will work under licensed pharmacists, handle insurance processing, and manage inventory with a focus on patient service.

This role requires rotating weekly schedules, periodic late clinic coverage, and local travel between sites with mileage reimbursement. Prior OR licensure and experience with 340B systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician role under licensed pharmacists.
• Experience with pharmacy software and insurance processing preferred.
• Licensed in OR (Tech 2/3) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications.
• Process prescriptions from entry through dispensing using pharmacy software.
• Maintain patient records, insurance data, and documentation.
• Provide customer service and respond to questions about pharmacy services.
